Mr. Broady is a principal investor and director of several privately held companies in the fields of telecommunications, security and enterprise software applications including SoloProtect, TimeLink International Corp., and Broady Health Sciences, LLC.
Over a 30 year period, he founded and was Chairman/CEO of Network Security, Interactive Technologies, Inc. and Ultrak Inc., and brought each of them public on the NASDAQ. All three companies were involved in electronic security, including CCTV, wireless alarms and access control. Ultrak was a global leader in Enterprise Security Solutions with operations in 16 countries.
Before founding Network Security in 1972, Mr. Broady was an investment analyst with both a private investment firm and with the First National Bank in Dallas. He served twice in the U.S Army and received his Bachelor of Science degree from Iowa State University in 1960.
Mark Abramson has served as CEO/CTO of MTI since 1989. He is responsible for strategic development of MTI's technology and Professional Services. Under his guidance, MTI has expanded into an international provider of contact center solutions and technologies, including large-scale inbound and outbound IVR, SMS, CTI, and email delivery.
Mark’s deployment and enhancement of speech recognition and text-to-speech technologies spans several decades and MTI was one of the first companies to offer VoiceXML platforms and infrastructure as services for third-party developers.
As a life-long entrepreneur, Mark was a co-founder of Voice Computer Technologies (VCT), Innovative Firearm Safety (IFS), Voice Professionals (VP), and Technology and Communication Partnership (TCP).
Mark is a graduate of Emory University where he earned a combined BS/MS in four years, and where he was awarded a scholarship to Emory’s combined MD/PhD program. It was during that period that the startup bug really bit and when VCT was created with both Angel Investors and Venture Capital.
Mark lives in the San Francisco area and enjoys hiking and exercising his private pilot privileges all along the West Coast.
Active in the fields of telecommunications and IVR for more than 13 years, Justin has specialized in high technology, telecommunications, and messaging solutions. His successes range from establishing unique marketing strategies to resolving a number of strategic planning issues, coupled with extensive channel experience. In addition to his management and leadership roles, Justin has years of experience designing and implementing IVR solutions, with a proven track record of delivering successful solutions. He has specialized in voice self-service and telecomunications since 2000, designing innovative telecom solutions and IVR systems to solve challenging contact center problems. Justin’s key areas of specialization include human factors analysis, CTI integration, and low-level telephony, but his experience includes project management, network operations, business analysis, and software development.
Prior to joining MTI, Justin managed the IVR division of Voicecom Telecommunications (now known as Intelliverse). Justin has been with MTI since 2006.
